Swirling around my tongue like a noose around my neck

I whip words out of my mouth

Beating down for another lashing

“I am my worst enemy” she says

I let his lip trail down my neck

Sewing deceit with every kiss

He seals her heart under his spell

My mind aches screaming to be loved

If only he would love me this nightmare would end

Her heart becoming and onyx abyss

It’s magnetic pull devouring everything in its path

“She’s a supernova girl”

Her fruitless allure complete with the gray of clouds from a sunless sky

“I’m in control” she says

Collapsing from the Heavens like thunder

Her wings burning as she hits the atmosphere falling through clouds of delusion

Tipping back the cup sipping its poison with a quenchless thirst

Nothing can satisfy her

Her search continues

Suddenly, silence.

Her throat closing up choking on the thickness of every unspoken word.

Darkness consumes her.

“Who is your Lord?” Says her Spirit

Gates of Pearl open releasing a flood of chaos

She tears through the veil of darkness

Tearing the hymen of humanity she emerges a new creature

Born again of a new name

My throat dry from the ages of silence

I go to speak

Air shifting from her lungs

Up her throat coating her tongue

The muscle wresting as her mind curates it’s script

The audience falling quiet staring at her naked form beaming from the spotlight

She blinks again at all of the familiar faces

Air married with vibration

“Selah”, she says.
